one going-away party, a week of packing, lots of goodbyes, a few tears, 1300 miles, 3 days, several americanos, one Harry Potter audiobook, lots of gas and lots of time to think, and we made it to SoCal! we took the last few days to relax and settle in a bit, but now it's time to hit the ground running. Evan went up to LA today, where he'll be living and working, and now I'm getting to money-making and apartment-hunting. Lots of changes, both good and scary. If you have suggestions for places to eat/shop/play/photograph in the La Jolla/Pacific Beach/San Diego area, holla atcha girl! in the meantime, I have the ocean just blocks away to play in. it's not the worst life. xo!
